I. The Condition of Unregenerate Man

1. Spiritually BLIND
2. Spiritually DEAF
3. Spiritually IGNORANT
4. Spiritually HOSTILE
5. Affectionally DISINCLINED
6. Volitionally UNABLE
7. Volitionally INERT
8. Morally EVIL and DARK
9. Spiritually DEAD

II. The Calling of Unconditional Election

1. This calling is according to God's sovereign ELECTION.
2. This calling is EFFECTUAL.
3. This calling is consistent with man's AGENCY.
4. This calling is eternally SAVING.

4 Applications

1. All glory belongs to God in man's salvation.
2. Divine election, effectual calling, and eternal security move us to worship, faith, humility, and devotion.
3. Divine election, effectual calling, and eternal security make us confident in:
   1. Our salvation
   2. Our sharing in Christ's mission
4. There is salvation for all who believe in Jesus Christ.
